Arguably the biggest plus from their rout of the Tallawahs was the performance of Lendl Simmons. The opener for the Trinbago Knight Riders has been struggling to find his form of late, but a crisp 70 runs from just 45 balls will have franchise fans hoping for a return to his talismanic talents.

There was concern surrounding the performance of Isuru Udana, however. The Sri Lankan pacer went for 49 runs from his three overs, although he did pick up the wicket of Imad Wasim.

No new injuries to speak of, so the line-up is unlikely to change.
